8-ounce piece of pizza dough – raised and ready to use (may used purchased dough)
¼ cup fine graham cracker crumbs
1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
⅔ cup semisweet chocolate morsels
¼ cup finely chopped pecans (optional)
3 tablespoons salted caramel, purchased or homemade
Instructions
Have your grill going at a high heat. If you have a temperature gauge, aim for 500°F. Have rack set for indirect heat. Place a 13-inch or larger pizza stone on indirect rack to pre-heat for at least 30 minutes with top of grill closed.
While stone is preheating, roll out your dough. Scatter half of the graham cracker crumbs on your work surface and pat or roll out dough to a 10-inch diameter. Flip over, sprinkle with remaining crumbs and pat or roll crumbs into the surface of the dough. Transfer dough to preheated pizza stone. Close grill and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until bottom of crust is browning. Then, working quickly, scatter about half of the marshmallows, all of the chocolate, all of the nuts (if using), then the remaining marshmallows on top. Close grill and cook for about 3 minutes. Once top crust is browning and topping is bubbling, drizzle caramel over pizza, close grill and cook for another minute or two more. Serve immediately, cut into wedges with a pizza cutter.
