We know all about Dominique Ansel’s cronut and new milk-and-cookie shot inventions, but our favorite marriage of foods has to be cake pops, a delicious cake-truffle-lollipop hybrid. You may have seen our collection of cake balls posted over the last few months, but a new cookbook by Noel Muniz takes the bite-sized treats to the next level.
Amazing Cake Pops features 85 recipes and designs to help flex your creative muscles in the kitchen. They are a bit advanced, so we suggest honing your skills with a few of our own cake ball recipes before diving in, but once you do, you’ll be able to get fun and festive when you shape your pops into pirates, penguins, meatballs and more.
The author is a native Chicagoan who owns The Cake Poppery, which opened in 2009 (do yourself and check out the website’s gallery for a look at some of his awesome creations). He is a master of cake pop art, you might even call him Candy Warhol. 😛
We have FIVE copies of Amazing Cake Pops to give away to Bakepedia readers! Now through April 10, you can enter once per day in the form below. Want bonus entries? Follow us on Twitter and share the giveaway in a tweet. Don’t forget to share the giveaway with your friends, there are plenty of prizes to go around!
