Bavarian cream [buh–vair-ee-uhn kreem] noun
A gelatin-based refrigerated dessert composed of rich custard, whipped cream and flavoring – often a fruit purée, vanilla, chocolate or even flavored liqueurs. Bavarian cream is served molded or in glass goblets to show the velvety texture, often with additional whipped cream on top.
